AURA is a quote app for iPhone that reads your battery level and shows you a quote that matches where you are. We built it with one principle: your data belongs to you, not us.

What we collect

Nothing.

AURA does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything the app knows about you — your name, your preferences, your notification settings, your saved quotes — stays on your device. It never leaves.

Your name

If you enter your name during onboarding, it is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard storage. It is never sent to any server. It is used only to personalise your quotes on your device.

Battery level

AURA reads your battery level to determine which quote to show. This data is read locally on your device in real time and is never recorded, logged, or transmitted anywhere.

Notifications

AURA sends local notifications when your battery drops to a new level. These are generated entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.

Payments

If you upgrade to AURA Pro, your payment is processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not see or store your payment information. RevenueCat, our payment infrastructure partner, manages subscription state on your behalf. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies to that data.

Analytics

The current version of AURA (v1.0) contains no analytics or tracking of any kind. We do not know how many times you open the app, which quotes you read, or how you use any feature.

Third party services

AURA does not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or any third party data collection service.

Children

AURA does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. There is nothing to collect.

Changes

If this policy ever changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Since we collect no data, any changes would only ever make this policy more protective, not less.
